Development of life cycle assessment for residue-based bioenergy LCA (life cycle assessment) is an environmental assessment tool for a product system which differentiates the status of an economic flow associated with a unit process as goods or waste. Proper identification of an economic status of input flows to or output flows from a unit process is required as it will bring consequences on how an LCA should be conducted.
